Elle B. Zhou X Sketch - London Fashion Week SS17

The Most Important Meal OThe Day: BREAKFAST
I love fashion don't get me wrong, but fashion week isn't always bliss and smiles it can be quite overwhelming at times and not always the experience you hope for. But this? This was a dream come true...
I brought my sister along with me to Elle B. Zhou's fashion show at Sketch in London.
We had the most amazing breakfast with spritzers & tea followed by the catwalk show.

Elle's Grandmother was the inspiration behind
this fabulous collection and influences from
the 70's.  Incorporating big hair, big statements and a little
feather along the way.
There isn't much in this world more satisfying
than food and fashion but when combined
it's another level of truth.

What I loved about this collection is that every piece was unpredictable and something different.
I loved the lace and cool printed pieces and I don't think anyone could get over the cuteness of that pup!

For the longest I've wanted to visit Sketch and if you've been feeling the same way stop and just go.
No one has told me to say a word of this but one thing I truly appreciate is great food and great service.
Everything was absolutely beautiful and I look forward to returning soon.
Peace

A Little Cheese & Festive Cheer

If your anything like me you spent the last few days forgetting what day it was by indulging in left overs, spending time with family and falling asleep watching movies like Miracle On 34th Street.

In between all that goodness I found time to set the table and sit down with the family to enjoy wine, cheese and of course, chutney.

Wreaths are traditionally seen on doors, but my sister made it at
Grace & Thorn, she decided it would make a great centre piece for the table, and it sure was.
Putting it on the Lazy Susan made it stand out our oval shaped table.

The four white reindeer pieces were a great find in the Sale at Selfridges at 20p each! Sounds ridiculous, but honestly, I get a thrill out of these bargain finds!

Cholocate coins are great for sprucing up the table so I lined the wreath with them.

On Christmas Day, one of our gifts was a a beautiful package from my family in Derby by Morgan's Deli. It was in a lovely wooden basket lined with hay and wrapped in cellophane. It had a Sweet Chilli Relish, Cheedar Cheese and one of my favourites, Brie.

We used our cheese boards from pervious years (keep them!) and took out our cheese knive.
Not only are the boards good for serving the obvious (cheese), they serve cakes and loaves of bread just as well.

Thanks once again and I'll be back for more festive tips, sale picks and creative ways to host your meals throughout the  holidays.

Ashley Isham S/S15

Ashley Isham S/S15 collection was a beautiful delve between the sporty fascinators and embellished garments.
You get to see the versatility of Ashley's designs and his style through the prints, structures, colour palettes and details between each piece. I hope you find it as inspiring as I did if not more!

Keiko Nishiyama - London Fashion Week S/S15

Keiko Nishiyama's collection is some what like a gentle trip into the whimsical world of Alice In Wonderland. The Prints show an great amount of imagination just as well as creativity. I love the way Keiko has depicted elements of what's seen in the Ocean. The structure and prints of the garments remind me of desigual and their fearlessness to try something new and original. I'll be interested to see what next season will look like for Keiko Nishiyama.
