The range of sandwiches and petit fours were really delicious; a clever menu that not only looked amazing, it also danced with your taste buds. The brioche buns with an English famous egg & mayo had the perfect balance of flavours, comfort and satisfaction.

got milk? -a carefully thought out selection of fine teas from The East India Company, specially selected for the

Flemings Mayfair. We choose the Flemings Breakfast Blend and Lis-han Oolong teas, which has beautiful and unique flavours.

The pièce de résistance was the scones, with the Jersey Chantilly cream and strawberry jam; they were the best scones I have ever tasted - light, warm and melt-in-your-mouth

Its all in the details: Things I appreciated about my visit was spending it with my mum. The host knowing my name as I walked into the room(i'm clearly not famous), plus having the right pronunciation they're service is simply exceptional.

My previous experiences of Afternoon Tea is that you get one or two 'nice cakes' and two or three 'average cakes'.

So the scenario is, who is gonna take the 'L' and whose going to enjoy the slightly better ones.

But this was everything but 'average' and 'nice'.

These desserts were a dream! I'd redo a dreary exam just to relieve a moment like this - you may say I'm dramatic I say I'm passionate about the goodness of food, it may set you free. I'm not a huge fan of Meringues or Eclaires but I'm not one to write off a dish/food because someone may make it better, cook it differently or serve it in a way that appeals to me.

Groupon: Say hello to your new friend. So this is my second time purchasing an Afternoon Tea voucher with groupon and this had to best purchase yet. Being that there a wide variety of options on the website you can become quiet spoilt for choice. I look at reviews, search images via instagram and then middle my way done from a million tabs to one.

Not only is the afternoon tea given to you on offer but once you purchase it you can use it across a 3month period which is great if your plans are always unexpectedly changing and sometimes staying at home chilling is a great plan.

But honestly, truly I try to save money where I can and I enjoy trying new things and visiting new places so this was a total win win.

Building The Table Spread - Mothers Day

This Mothers Day my inspiration for my table came from my Resin Mirrored tray I have from Zara Home. This mirrored tray is beautifully framed with gold details, it catches my eye so heavily I could find no way not to use it. I wanted to build upon it with watered sky blues and a array of bright bursting colours. Our tea pot took and unfortunate turn for the worst and broke into some pieces.

We hesitated in throwing it away and being the creative my mother is she found other use for it.

As you see it's become a vessel for flowers.

The plates used in this setting come from Ikea, they have a soft rigged edge and a fine curved line that follows around the plate. The cute and petite cake stand comes from House Of Fraser - Linea Pave it's out of stock at the moment but they may have it back in stock shortly. The blue placemats are a lot wider than this and can take up quite some space. I folded these smaller and then used a secondary gold placemat on top to tie in with the gold resin mirrored plate. I had floral blue mugs in a similar shade to the place mates but only two but I needed a third. I went digging in the cupboard for this gold lined, squared mug, which I can only describe as a 90's orange and it worked well.

H&M's New Brand - & Other Stories - X Flowers

Hair clips with crystal texture on top (£7) they also have the matching earrings which are gorj!

I love their packaging for their products so simple and consistent. Haven't tried their make-up but the colours of the lip glosses are really nice.

What I really admired was the detail in products which all have influences of sports wear in it.

Got my Vans on but the look like sneakers.

Reinvent your bags with multicolored tassels, other than a scarf add these attachments they are perfect.

The purses have these cool zips, the lining is of a different colour from the purse and the zipping remains gold.

The bag has great structure at the bottom which is great as it prevents sagging and the bag from looking lifeless on your shoulder.

I'm in love with these shoes the belt buckle actually does unbuckle, ohh yeahh! -not that I advise walking without it done up.

This bag has a long strap to wear on your shoulder but if you do like to then keep your bag worn in your hands with the cross strap, it's just a neatly added detail.

Never did I expect the store to have beauty products as great as this, I cannot speak for all of it's items but from what I tried out they are softening and beautifully scented.

Cashmere Day Cream ow La La boo boo

This is a scientific equation for my Chemistry people.

Yes this is a real tap and you can 'Try' before you buy. I tried the 'Rose' soap which smells so wonderful and then I used the 'Moroccan Tea' hand lotion which has to be my favorite!!!
