BACKSTORY:
where we at

I spent the end of summer in Toronto & LA...
LA was so inspiring, the architecture was stunning, the art was vibrant and the pace of the city was serene.
From the moment I landed I felt at home.
CALIFORNIA DONUTS:
first bite

First night in LA my friends took me to a Japanese restaurant where I had awesome Miso Soup! It was so filling.
After that it was time for CA Donuts...! They have such cool flavours and styles of donuts. Ones with fruit loops, a cookies & cream panda or my favourite the croissant donut with nutella & banana - LIFE!
The queue says it all and yes, it's worth the wait!

ABBOT KINNEY:
shop, eat, drink

Filled will the cutest cafe's, art painted walls and shops! As if we finished yesterday's donuts we
found ourselvein Blue Star Donuts trying Rosé Hibiscus donut. It was insanely good!
SANTA MONICA:
beach

Santa Monica has a city beach and a lot of entertainment across the pier as well as funfair rides, food stands and merch. We took a stroll a long the beach and then walked along the pier listening to these two guys play Afro beats and some Drake it was live!

3RD STREET PROMENADE:
where you at

3rd Street Promenade - The promenade is right beside Santa Monica Pier. Go shopping, have lunch or pick up a
frozen yogurt at Pink Berry! For all the Sephora lovers you will find one along this strip.

LACMA:
location

LACMA - Los Angeles County Museum Of Art. I took an uber up to the LACMA to meet my friend and see the elaborate architecture it had to offer. With it being a grand museum you can get a ticket to venture inside but I didn't. Depending on what side you come in from at the back of the Museum their is a huge passage tunnel with large stone, white walls. It's the place to grab some pictures with some palm trees around.

THE GETTY CENTER:
location

The Getty Center was one of my favourite places to visit in LA. The drive going towards the museum is stunning. You see all these amazing houses, landscapes and pretty views in general; but nothing quite like the views you get at The Getty Center. Once you arrive they have a shuttle train that transports you to the Center which is free, including the museum. They have exhibitions, things to see and a never ending pool of viewing points that overlook LA.

Until next time, have a listen to my playlist: Western Grove

The Presentation show titled 'Fast Girls', which I think has to be one of my favourite Presentation shows to date. The backdrop was epic, the props brought the attitude and atmosphere was lit!

It was hardcore, edgy and strong. To me it boasted
'the confident female',
Who knows how to incorporate strong elegant accessories & styles and causally mixes it with a
t-shirt or a pair of jeans. To me it's about redefining 'what women should wear' and being unfazed whilst doing so!

MARIANA JUNGMAN SS17
The collection was inspired by Marie Antoinette and Maria Bonita
It sees the intertwining of two rich cultures, France & Brazil. The fine details, beautiful tones, prints and fabrics;
all what make this such a effortlessly flowing collection.

I loved the soft touches of natural light
within the room it added a soft charm to the flirty & vibrant elements within this collection.

What I love about this collection is the handcrafted details, it makes each piece unmissable.
Gathers flattering dimension, which frames the outfit so well, creating a sweet moment in time.

Elle B. Zhou X Sketch - London Fashion Week SS17

The Most Important Meal OThe Day: BREAKFAST
I love fashion don't get me wrong, but fashion week isn't always bliss and smiles it can be quite overwhelming at times and not always the experience you hope for. But this? This was a dream come true...
I brought my sister along with me to Elle B. Zhou's fashion show at Sketch in London.
We had the most amazing breakfast with spritzers & tea followed by the catwalk show.

Elle's Grandmother was the inspiration behind
this fabulous collection and influences from
the 70's.  Incorporating big hair, big statements and a little
feather along the way.
There isn't much in this world more satisfying
than food and fashion but when combined
it's another level of truth.

What I loved about this collection is that every piece was unpredictable and something different.
I loved the lace and cool printed pieces and I don't think anyone could get over the cuteness of that pup!

For the longest I've wanted to visit Sketch and if you've been feeling the same way stop and just go.
No one has told me to say a word of this but one thing I truly appreciate is great food and great service.
Everything was absolutely beautiful and I look forward to returning soon.
Peace
